The respected President of the University of Basrah conducted a field visit to the College of Nursing, accompanied by work teams from the university presidency departments.  

Based on the directives of the respected President of the University of Basrah, and as part of continuous follow-up and diligent efforts to develop and advance administrative and academic work in all university units, a work team from the Studies and Planning Department at the University Presidency carried out an inspection visit to the College of Nursing on 9/7/2026.  

The visiting team included:  

- The Director of the Studies and Planning Department.  
- The Deputy Director of the Department.  
- The Head of the Data Division.  
- The Head of the Planning Division.  

The visit included a large meeting attended by the Dean of the College of Nursing and the staff of the Planning and Follow-up Division.  

During the meeting, the main current technical and administrative obstacles were diagnosed and discussed, including shortages in the workforce and ways to enhance coordination with the Human Resources Division, in addition to addressing the reasons for delays in sending the college’s academic structure.  

The focus was on simplifying procedures and filling the gaps in the Planning Division staff at the college.
